The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are expected to be released by the end of 2022. These will be among the first smartphones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Xiaomi 13 will come with a 6.38-inch curved OLED 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Meanwhile, Xiaomi 13 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch curved 120Hz E6 AMOLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a 4800mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
OnePlus 11 Pro
The OnePlus 11 Pro is also expected to join the list of devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The OnePlus 11 Pro is expected to come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with support of up to 100W fast charging. The device is expected to be released by the end of 2022.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The reports of Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra have been surfacing on the internet for a while. The device will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will feature a 6.8-inch 120Hz curved OLED, a 200MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The device is expected to be launched in January or February 2023.
Moto X40
Moto X40 or Moto Edge 40 Pro is also among the first few devices to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The device includes a 6.7-inch curved 165Hz AMOLED Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a triple camera setup on the rear, and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The phone is expected to debut globally in the first quarter of 2023.
Vivo X90 Pro+
Vivo isn’t too far behind in trying to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to its users. The upcoming Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to have a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, and a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Vivo X90 Pro+ is tipped to launch in China by the end of 2022 while a global launch could be sometime in the first quarter of 2023.
