Steps to fix the Mobile Authentication Error on Overwatch 2
As of now, there isn’t any response from Blizzard that helps prevent this error. Moreover, there aren’t a lot of workarounds available for this issue.
Method 1: Enter the correct data
If you want to fix this issue, the first thing that you can do would be to check that you have entered the correct data. If you have entered the incorrect mobile number or chosen the wrong country, then you should expect to get an authentication error.
Method 2: The mobile number shouldn’t be registered to any other account
You should ensure that the mobile number you’ve entered isn’t registered to any other Battle.net account. In case it is linked, it won’t be able to complete the authentication. If it isn’t and even then you’re facing the authentication issue, then you’ll have to send a ticket to Blizzard’s support. The response would be sent back to you within 7 days.
