Method 1: Delete browser cookies and website data

Method 2: Flush DNS and Reset Winsock
Click on the Start button and look for Command Prompt or CMD. Alternatively, you could press the Windows key + R and search for CMD. If you’re the admin, then you’ll be fine. If you aren’t the admin, in the Start Menu, you should right-click CMD, and then click on Run as administrator. Once it has opened, you should type the following Commands, one of them at a time –
ipconfig/flushdns netsh winsock reset

Method 3: Toggle Off Proxy Server and then Disable VPNs
Errors like Captcha Not Working in Steam occur due to conflicts between the apps and the VPN. It would be best to switch off the VPN if you’re getting this error. Head over to VPN and disable it till the issue has been resolved. In case the Proxy settings are on, then this might also result in the error. To toggle it off, you should press Windows Key + R and look for “ms-settings:network-proxy”. Alternatively, from the Start Menu, you should go to Settings.
